Amigo founded ABYSUP because he believed inflatable paddle boards deserved better — better stability, better materials, better honesty with the people buying them.
With 15+ years building water sports products from the ground up, he obsesses over the details most brands skip. He still personally tests every new prototype before it leaves the design floor.
Allen Xiao
Senior Industrial Designer
Allen has spent nearly a decade designing inflatable paddle boards — testing prototypes on three continents, redesigning rails three times because the first two felt wrong underfoot, watching real paddlers report what works and what doesn’t.
He’s the voice behind ABYSUP’s blog, and the designer behind every board in our All-Round, Touring, Yoga, and Fishing lines.

Senior Product Designer
Cathy leads color, graphics, and rider-experience design across the ABYSUP lineup. With 12+ years designing products specifically for water, she’s the reason every ABYSUP board looks like it belongs on the lake — not in a factory catalog. She paddles weekly and rides what she designs.
