ABY Warranty Policy

At aby, we are committed to engineering products that withstand the elements. We stand behind the quality of our materials and workmanship. This warranty policy outlines the coverage, exclusions, and claim process for your aby inflatable products.

Boards & Platforms

  • 2-Year Limited Warranty: Covers seam failures, air leakage due to manufacturing defects, and valve malfunctions.
  • Commercial/Rental Use: Products used for commercial purposes (rentals, schools, resorts) are covered by a 1-Year Limited Warranty.

Accessories

  • 1-Year Warranty: Includes paddles, pumps, leashes, fins, and carry bags.

What is Covered?

  • Seam Delamination: Air leakage at the seams where layers are fused.
  • Structural Failure: Internal drop-stitch failure (bubbles or shape distortion) not caused by over-inflation.
  • Faulty Components: Defective D-rings, handles, or fin boxes installed at the factory.

What is NOT Covered

  • Normal Wear and Tear: Scratches, scuffs, fading, or discoloration from normal use.
  • Heat & Sun Damage: Delamination or deformation caused by leaving the product inflated in direct sunlight or high temperatures (above 30°C/86°F) while out of the water. Please store in shade.
  • Impact Damage: Punctures, cuts, or abrasions caused by rocks, docks, oysters, or other sharp objects.
  • Over-Inflation: Damage caused by inflating the product beyond the recommended PSI (usually 15-18 PSI for SUPs).
  • Improper Storage: Mold, mildew, or material degradation caused by storing the product wet or in damp, unventilated conditions (e.g., wet inside a bag).
  • Unauthorized Modifications: Damage resulting from applying glue, cutting, or adding aftermarket accessories not approved by aby.
  • Transport Damage: Damage occurring during shipping, loading, or unloading (unless reported immediately upon delivery).

How to File a Claim

To expedite your claim, please follow these steps. Incomplete claims may result in delays.

Step 1: Gather Information Please have the following ready:

  1. Proof of Purchase: Original invoice or receipt showing the date and retailer.

  2. Serial Number: A photo of the unique serial number (usually found near the fin box or valve).

  3. Photos/Video: Clear photos or a short video showing the defect (wide shot of the board + close-up of the issue).

Step 2: Submit Claim

  • Purchased from a Dealer: Please contact your local authorized aby dealer directly. They will handle the inspection and replacement process.

  • Purchased from aby Official Website: Please submit your claim via email us at [email protected].

aby’s Responsibility & Liability

  • Repair the defective product.
  • Replace the product with an equivalent model (if the original is discontinued).
  • Refund the purchase price (in specific cases).
Limitation of Liability: aby is not liable for any incidental or consequential damages, including but not limited to: loss of use, loss of time, inconvenience, rental of substitute equipment, or damage to other property.
